Day 10:

Storms

All along I have loved them, I have feared them, the beautiful fury of storms. All along I have cowered as I have captured their wonderful, wrathful forms. I have taken hundreds of their photographs but never taken the sacred time to love the kiss of the rain cross my skin.

ABOUT THIS POETRY FORM

Emerged from from the 19th century France by Charles Baudelair.

It is basically a poem written in paragraph format. No set length. Relies on the natural flow of sentences while using vivid symbolism, alliteration, and other poetic techniques.
Rhymes: when and where ever you want, or not at all.

I didn't quite get this one until I read a few Prose Poems. I think this form would be an excellent form for writing about dreams.
