It's You, Awahihte'

 It's you. It's always you.
I once aspired to be and do as you do
You who watched as I grew
Of quilled dreams and hopes I did sew
To be in a crew of two, maybe few
in days of yonder I've had time to ponder.
My brain wondered
Putting pieces together
Of yellow rose petals wither
A whispered hiss, a quiet Slither
Into the ears of her, a life take away of grandeur.
A life of new independence turned into a sentence
Tears from eyes cause by peers who leer
Of stresses in glass bottles and tar like fear
Sticky stuck and unwanted touch
It's you. It's always you
In my protests of lack of lingering fingers
I hoped you'd step in with justice dealt
But help was not felt
From your lips a simple joke or taunt
Yet you'll never know why those touches haunt
All those ghosts I fight and had fought
Game, teases playful banter one may have thought
It's you. It's always you
Of days in cages, stages, pages and hot melted gum on my shoe
A wall of flowers unpruned this bird flew
Simmer sought of unbinding brew
Wrathful, roaring, raging, grew to a calming, soothing softened mew
Oh the pain of unseen rocks you threw
Waters that ripple insure
A heard opened wide full of trust was- is my issue
Confined to the orbit of narcissity no more for I am free
A supernova in my galaxy
Will I implode or will new life come from me?
